Daily meals for Corgis who are about 28 lbs. Adjust for your dog's size.
Greens:
2 bags collard greens1 big stalk celery
1 bunch parsley (for vitamin c)
2 big or 4 small cooked sweet potatoes
2 cans chick peas
2 big cans green beans
2 tbsp Garlic powder
Put all in a blender or smoothie maker and blend with plenty of water to the consistency of baby food. I use the big yogurt containers to store the greens in the freezer, defrosting as needed. One big container feeds 3 Corgis for three meals.
Breakfast:
chicken necks or turkey necks depending on the size of the dog
1 - 2 tbsp low or no fat yogurt
mashed fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon)
Dinner:

½ tbsp Cod Liver Oil
1 tsp Alfalfa Powder
½ tsp Kelp Powder
Other foods in place of the chicken for variety:

Ground salmon
Ground lamb
Ground duck
Ground beef trachea
Ground pork
Ground beef
Canned mackerel
Canned tuna
Egg-about 1 time a week
Yummy Treats
Salmon Bites
8 oz can salmon with juice
2-3 cups potato flour
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3 eggs, shells included
1/2 cup flax seed, grind up in a coffee grinder
Garlic powder
Combine all ingredients and add potato flour to make a stiff dough like a pie crust. Roll out on a cookie sheet or pizza pan using the potato flour instead of wheat flour on pan. Score into bite-size pieces with a pizza cutter. Bake at 375° F for half hour or until cooked through. Let cool, break into pieces along pre-scored lines and store in air tight containers. Can be frozen and used as needed.
Chicken and Beef Liver Rolls
1 lb each beef livers and chicken livers
2 large boxes puffed rice cereal
1 tbsp garlic powder
6 egg yokes
Put rice cereal in blender and process until power. Remove and put aside. Blend livers and egg yolks in blender until smooth. Add garlic powder. Start adding the rice cereal powder. You may have to finish the mixing in a bowl as the mixture may get too stiff for the blender. Continue to add rice cereal powder until there is one big ball that is fairly firm. Cut aluminum foil into pieces about 8 inches wide. Spray with a cooking spray. Put some of the mixture into the foil and form into a roll. Wrap the aluminum foil around the roll and twist the ends to seal. Put the rolls on a cookie sheet and slow bake for about 1 ½ hours at 300° or until cooked thoroughly. Cool and freeze. Defrost and cut into pieces as needed. This makes about 6 – 7 rolls.
