Boxer on Red Sofa


Daily meals for Corgis who are about 28 lbs. Adjust for your dog's size.

 

Greens:

            1 bunch of collard greens

            1 large sweet potato

            1 can of chick peas

            Garlic powder (about a teaspoon)

            Any leftover, overripe raw vegetables, lettuce, etc. (squash, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots)

 

            Put all in a blender or smoothie maker and blend with plenty of water to the consistency of baby food.

 

Breakfast:

            1 chicken neck or turkey neck depending on the size of the dog

            Tablespoon of plain or vanilla flavor yogurt

            ½ - 1 cup of water

           

Dinner:

            1 chicken back cut into 6 pieces and divided between 3 Corgis

            1-2 tablespoons of greens

            Oil from 2 salmon oil capsules

            ½ - 1 cup of water

 

 

Other foods in place of the chicken for variety:

            Tripe

            Ground salmon

            Ground lamb

            Ground duck

            Ground beef trachea

            Ground pork

            Ground beef

            Canned mackerel

            Egg-about 1 time a week

            Mashed bananas

            Blended apples

 

Treats:

            Sliced beef heart or beef liver, sprinkle with garlic powder and bake in oven on 350 until cooked. I use kitchen scissors to cut it up. Can be frozen for later use.
