Daily meals for Corgis who are about 28 lbs. Adjust for your dog's size.
Greens: collard greens fresh spinach parsley (for vitamin c) cooked sweet potatos canned chick peas canned vegetables (green beans, carrots, peas, lima beans, spinach) Garlic powder Any leftover vegetables, lettuce, etc. (squash, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots)
Put all in a blender or smoothie maker and blend with plenty of water to the consistency of baby food. Put in 1 or 2 serving containers and freeze.
Breakfast: chicken necks or turkey necks depending on the size of the dog yogurt mashed fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon)
Dinner: 1/2 chicken back cut into pieces 2-3 tablespoons of greens Oil from 2 salmon oil capsules (1,000 mg each)
Other foods in place of the chicken for variety: Tripe Ground salmon Ground lamb Ground duck Ground beef trachea Ground pork Ground beef Canned mackerel Canned tuna Egg-about 1 time a week Mashed bananas
Treats: Sliced beef heart or beef liver, sprinkle with garlic powder and bake in oven on 350 until cooked. I use kitchen scissors to cut it up. Can be frozen for later use. For hot days freeze yogurt in an ice cube tray and feed outside.
